transportation - all day long

How I recognized the Lord's hand in my life today:

The potential plan was that I would have to catch the bus back to my hotel tonight. Then my car buddy changed her plans so that she could give me a ride back. Also, the presenter of the conference offered me a ride to the airport tomorrow so that I don't have to find (and pay for!) a city shuttle to take me back to the airport. Blessings!

hooray for the temple!

How I saw the Lord's hand in my life today:

Nothing huge happened today....no life-transforming event. One aspect of my day that does stand out, however, is that one of the other women at the conference lives near the Denver temple. I had asked her if she knew of good ways to get there. She didn't, but she printed off some information, and even offered to take me there.

That opened up a discussion about how beautiful the temples are, and another woman joined in, saying that she went through the Vernal temple before it was dedicated. Nothing came of the discussion; perhaps I should have invited them to see the missionaries, but I didn't. However, I did feel confident and happy talking to these women about how wonderful the temples are.

That, as much as anything else that happened today (the fact that I felt confident and happy talking about my beliefs instead of feeling insecure and uncertain) showed me how the Lord was involved in my life today.

How I saw God's hand in my life today: (just one example)

- I found a refrigerator in my hotel room (hidden under the TV), which allowed me the possibility of:

- purchasing food at a grocery store (driven to by my new car buddy), speaking of which,

- I have a car buddy, who is willing to pick me up at my hotel (braving Denver traffic, which makes her very nervous) and drive me to our conference every day so I don't have to catch (and pay for) the bus, and she

- Takes me back to my hotel room in the evening.

Wow!
